Hose reels GTE – electric
The Geovent hose reels, types GTE or GTS, are used for extraction of exhaust gases, welding fumes, etc. The advantage of using this principle is that an extraction hose is always available and rollout hoses do not take up space on the floor.
Geovent GTS (spring driven) and GTE (electric) are 2 series of hose reels based on a common platform so that the reels can be easily upgraded from spring driven to electric.
We mostly produce the reels in 1000mm, but also offer them in 750mm, 1400mm, and they fit on 80, 100, 125, 150, and 200mm in lengths up to 15m.
The common platform enables us to offer fast delivery, high flexibility, and high quality products at competitive prices.
- Hose reel GTE comes with a powerful tubular motor and radio remote control for easier operation.
- The GTS variant comes with a powerful steel spring.
You can connect hose reel GTE and GTS to the central extraction system or directly to the Geovent flange fan MSQ-200 with an automatic start/stop.

The standard hose reel is supplied with the GeoFlex exhaust hose, which can be overrun once or twice. The GeoFlex exhaust hose has a temperature capacity of +170°C – briefly up to +200°C. However, when extracting exhaust fumes from big trucks, contractors’ machinery, and cars with a turbocharger you have to use a high-temperature hose.
